Reservation - Help or Hurdle

Reservation is not the answer for upliftment for anyone. Even after giving reservation to anyone, how can we ensure that they won't be looked down upon. We all agree that even after CHANGE OF RELIGION, dalits are still looked down upon. Reservation FIX or Change in religion is like giving anti-fever pill to a patient who has symptom of fever but in reality he is a long time patient of CANCER. They at best can work at surface level.

Problems with Reservation:
1. By giving reservation, we will only make the person more handicap and worst give him a label of RESERVED category for his/her whole life.
2. We are definitely giving a job to someone who is not competent enough for whetever reason. This will have a direct impact on our growth. How will we compete with developed countries?
3. Question to proponent of Reservation: God forbid, your very dear relative meets an accident. At that time, would you feel comfortable, if you get to know that person who is going to operate became surgeon because of his caste and not his competency.
4. Reservation has only helped politicians and not the actual people it was targetted for.

SOLUTION:
We need to start from the root level, instead of trying to FIX the problems at the surface level. The answer is ATTITUDE and AWARENESS. We have to FEEL ONE. We need to change the whole nation.

HOW?
1. We need to change our thought process. We need to root out this whole DIVIDE of backward and upper class, majority and minority. Reservation will only encourage polarization. What we need is a SENSE OF CONFIDENCE in everyone's heart that they have EQUAL opportunity to compete

2. We need to support the poor people making PRIMARY education MUST for each Indian kid and providing them free education. The growing industries should be made responsible for opening and funding these schools and should be given appropriate tax breaks.

3. We need to take some TIME out from our life to help someone else.

Here KEYWORD IS WE not the Government.

This way we can build our country like a family where everyone feels self-confident and productive member of this family.
